discuss the ABC's of wine pairing and suggest the
perfect wine for each dish. If you're new to wine,
no problem—Scott will strip away all the wine-speak,
and explain things in terms even the novice will
understand.

knowledge of knives and their various uses. In this
class we will discuss knife “anatomy,” the
differences between Asian and Western knives and
stamped vs. forged knives, what knife to use for
what task, proper, safe knife care including
what constitutes a good cutting board, honing v.
sharpening, etc. Information is covered through
discussion, demonstration and a bit of hands-on
training. Bring 2 of your knives for an enhanced
learning experience – the one you feel the most
comfortable with, and the one you feel the least
comfortable with, too! Limited to 10.
